 Evaluation has increasingly been recognized as an important part of organizational work. However, access to training about and performance of evaluation, and sustaining enhanced evaluation capacity is often challenging. This is especially true for nonprofit organizations where resources are stretched thin. Evaluation Services is the multi-faceted approach we use to support the evaluation-related work of others in Nonprofit and Philanthropic organizations. Our goal is to help organizations use evaluation – by serving as an independent external evaluator, as an evaluation partner undertaking participatory evaluation, as a trainer, and/or as an adviser and coach for learning and completion of actual evaluation projects.

 Strategic Planning- BC provides services that assist organizational leaders in setting expectations, developing plans, managing processes, and resources; and setting priorities to measure outcomes effectively. In addition, techniques and tools for assessing, and improving the governance of management, clinical and patient care services and support activities are also provided. As local leaders are guided through this process, they will learn to identify gaps in services and develop programs to fill those gaps.   

 Program/Project Development – BC provides professional consulting services that help organization to conceptualize services, plan and implement services based on needs identify in the target population. Program development services focus on service delivery models that are permanent within the organization’s infrastructure. While project development focus on services that are designed to meet a specific need for a specified time period. We work with clients from the initial stages of program planning and development. We work with organizations to clarify the desired effects (outcomes) of programming and to ensure that a proposed program is optimally designed so that it achieves its intended goals. We build a logic model/theory of change that visually illustrates how the program will produce its desired effects. We have proven experience in working with grant-seekers from the early stages of proposal development to ensure that the proposed program contains effective evaluation strategies that are systematically integrated into the program’s operation. This involvement ensures that the program collects robust data that can be used for continuous improvement, and that measure the results of the program’s operation.
